The current Rank garage needs to be completely rebuilt as part of the switch to e-buses. It no longer meets current requirements, is too small and cannot be equipped with the necessary charging infrastructure.
According to current plans, the existing Rank garage will be demolished from June 2024, with construction work on the new building due to begin in spring 2025.
